    Domestic Violence

    Northern California Domestic Violence Lawyer

Anyone involved in domestic violence should understand the legal issues involved. Domestic violence cases usually involve restraining orders or orders of protection. First, however, police often issue a temporary Emergency Protective Order (EPO).

When the case goes to court, they may issue a more formal protective order. Depending on the skill and experience of your attorney, you could end up either with or without a restraining order, under Section 136.2, P.C. that prevents one person from coming within a specified distance of the other person.

At the Law Offices of Leon J. Mezzetti, Jr., P.C., we can take either side of domestic violence claims. As part of our criminal defense practice, we defend people who are fighting domestic violence accusations.

Get an Experienced Lawyer on Your Side

In California, everyone convicted of domestic violence must go through individual counseling. However, every domestic violence case is different, and our attorney works hard on each case to get our clients the best possible outcome. Mr. Mezzetti has more than 25 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney, and previously worked as a Deputy District Attorney. He has the experience to give you the help you need.
